* Note: 2010 Dog Licenses Are Not Available For Purchase Until January 1, 2010 

You may obtain a license in person for you dog at the:

     211 Route 31 North
     Washington, NJ 07882
     Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM 

Or by printing the application and mailing it to the Clerk’s Office:

NOTICE:  WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT EXACT CHANGE OR CHECKS FOR  PAYMENT OF DOG LICENSES

DOG LICENSE REQUIREMENTS 

All dogs in the Township of Washington seven months of age or older MUST have a license each year. 

      - Licenses run from January to December.  All dog licenses must be renewed each January.

      - A valid rabies certificate (must be valid through November 1 of the year the license is issued), must be
        included with the application.

      - If the dog has been spayed/neutered, you must include the certificate with the application. 

The cost of a license is: 
·                     $7.20 if the dog has been spayed/neutered
·                     $10.20 if the dog has not been spayed/neutered  

LATE FEES ARE CHARGED AS FOLLOWS:
A late fee of $5.00 is charged for February and $5.00 additional per month for every month following.
