The Township Clerk’s office is open Monday through Friday (except State Holidays) from 8:30am until 4:30pm. The Township Clerk serves as secretary to the mayor and Township Committee. The Clerk’s office administers the following: liquor licenses, bingo and raffle
permits, dog licenses, elections, voter registration, Board of Health licenses, road opening permits, receipt of bids, sewer assessments and advertising of all ordinances. Vital statistic functions including birth, death and marriage
certificates.
The clerk’s office also maintains information on all ordinances, resolutions, agendas and minutes
Notarizing is a free service provided through the office.
Information is also available on utility companies and schools in the township to all new residents.
Elections
- Any person over 18 years of age is eligible to register to vote and may do so by appearing at the Office of the Township Cllerk during normal business hours. Registered voters who move within the Township must change their voting address. Women who marry and change their name must re-register. Mail-in ballot applications are also available athe the Clerk’s Office.
