The restrooms were put in place on December 17 & 18.   A few minor items are yet to be completed.  P. deBoer obtained a quotation ($2987.) from Bill Hodge (electrician) for timer locks and security light for the restrooms.  If we approve, he will get a second quote and request the Township Committee to provide funds from the park bond.  We approve of this action.

OLD BUSINESS

Plans were developed with the Morris Canal Committee for cleanup and walking path access to the towpath.  These plans were sent to NJ DEP (Historical Commission) for approval.

Bob Miller, Township Engineer, provided revised park drawings with all facilities labeled. We will review again and advise any changes and how many copies are needed.

We will move ahead with approval to have Bob Miller proceed with the necessary engineering work to provide NJ DEP with an official application for horseshoe court lights and walking path extension.  A cost of $3900. has been estimated and L. Wasser will review with the CFO.

The interviewing committee for the part time position of a WTRC administrator reported that they had interviewed two candidates prior to this meeting and selected Kate Rothman from Independence Township.  She has excellent experience, attitude, skills and recommendations.  A motion was made by D. Schott, seconded by M. Kries to recommend her for the position to the Township Committee at their January 18th meeting.  A $10./hour rate will be requested and we hope to have approval by late January along with the rest of our budget.
