MINUTES
JUNE 14, 2006
Chairwoman D. Pietrangelo called the meeting to order at 7:35p.m.
ADEQUATE NOTICE was given as follows: Notice was sent to the “Star Gazette” and “Express Times.” Notice was posted on the municipal bulletin board in the
township administration building in Washington Township, New Jersey and notice was filed with the Township clerk on December 23, 2006.
ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Mr. Howell, Mr. Strunk, Ms. Pietrangelo, Ms. Pflugh, Ms. Belz, Mayor Dempski ( 7:45 p.m.) Members Absent: Mr. Sodtalbers, Mr. Klingel, Mr. Rossi, Mr. Iwaniszyn, Mr. Zaret
Also Present: Attorney J. Rittley for S. Gruenberg, Engineer W. Gleba, Planner S. Doyle
MINUTES: Minutes from the May 31, 2006 meeting were tabled to the June 28, 2006 meeting.
CORRESPONDENCE: A correspondence list will be provided to the board members.
COMPLETENESS: 1.
Burger King - WTPB#2005-36 - Second completeness review for a Site Plan application for Block 24, Lot 15 located at 309 Route 31 South. This application was deemed incomplete on January 25, 2006. The applicant was represented by Attorney L. Tubman. Engineer W. Gleba reviewed his report dated June 9, 2006 and recommended the board deem the application complete with waivers granted for completeness and set the public hearing date. A motion to deem the application complete with a waiver granted for completeness only was made by Ms. Pflugh, seconded by Ms. Belz. Vote: Pflugh, Belz, Howell, Strunk, Pietrangelo - Ayes, 0 - Nay, 0 - Abstain, motion carried.
The public hearing for this application has been scheduled for July 12, 2006.
PUBLIC HEARING & DISCUSSION ITEMS: 1.
Dale Coleman - WTPB#2005-25 - This application has been rescheduled to the June 28, 2006 meeting due to lack of quorum. Engineer W. Gleba left the meeting 2.
Kenneth & Louellen Hofgesang - WTPB#2006-6 - Public hearing for a variance application for Block 28, Lot 14 located at 18 Partridge Run Road. This application was deemed complete on May 10, 2006. Attorney J. Rittley swore in applicants Kenneth and Louellen Hofgesang who were represented by Architect Jacques Duvoisin, AIA.
Attorney J. Rittley stated Attorney S. Gruenberg reviewed the advertising and the board had jurisdiction to proceed. Architect J. Duvoisin reviewed the required variances for frontage, width and side yard. Mr. Hofgesang stated the
septic was located in the rear of the property. Mr. Hofgesang stated the neighbors had been notified and there were no objections that he was aware of.
Public Comment: There were no questions from the public.
Neighbor Karen
Graf stated she supported the Hofgesang’s application and she had a similar problem with space in her home and built an addition which they now enjoy.
The public hearing was closed at this time.
A motion to approve was made by
Ms. Pflugh, seconded by Ms. Belz, Vote: Pflugh, Belz, Howell, Strunk, Pietrangelo - Ayes, 0 - Nay, Dempski - Abstained, motion carried.

Ordinance review for ordinance 06-17 - Zoning amendment. A written recommendation to the Township committee has been requested.

Ordinance review for ordinance 06-16 - Sign ordinance. A written recommendation to the Township committee has been requested.
PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment was offered. ADJOURNMENT: 9:05 p.m.
With no further business before the board and no public comment offered the meeting was adjourned.
