MINUTES SEPTEMBER 14, 2005 The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Formal action may be taken at this meeting. No new business will be heard after 11:00 p.m.
Vice Chairman R. Klingel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
ADEQUATE NOTICE was given as follows: Notice was sent to the “Star Gazette”and “Express Times.” Notice was posted on the Municipal bulletin board in the Township
Administration building in Washington Township, New Jersey, and notice was filed with the Township Clerk on December 22, 2004.
ROLL CALL:
Members Present: Mr. Howell, Mr. Strunk, Mr. Sodtalbers, Mr. Klingel, Mr. Rossi, Mr. Iwaniszyn, Mr. Birkner, Ms. Belz, Ms. Pflugh (7:40 p.m.)
Members Absent: Ms. Pietrangelo, Mayor Dempski
Also Present: Attorney S. Gruenberg, Engineer J. Cilo Jr.
CORRESPONDENCE: A correspondence list was submitted to the Land Use Board members. Board member Mr. Iwaniszyn reviewed his correspondence regarding the Highlands Act, Mr. Iwaniszyn
stated he would keep everyone up to date.
MINUTES: A motion to approve the minutes from the August 31, 2005 meeting as written was made by Mr. Sodtalbers, seconded by Mr. Birkner Vote: Sodtalbers, Birkner, Iwaniszyn,
Strunk, Klingel, Belz - Ayes, 0 - Nay, 0 - Abstain, motion carried.
RESOLUTIONS:
1. Trade Zone Auto - WTPB#2004-24 - Resolution for a Major Site Plan application with Variance relief for Block 79, Lot 7.06. This application was denied on March 30, 2005.
Eligible to Vote: Belz, Rossi, Howell, Sodtalbers, Iwaniszyn, Pietrangelo, Birkner
This resolution will be presented at the September 28, 2005 meeting.
2. Tractor Supply - WTPB#2005-19 - Resolution for a Site Plan application with Variance relief for Block 22, Lot 3.14, 3.15 & 3.16. This application received approval on
July 27, 2005. Attorney A. Lowcher represented the applicant. Attorney S. Gruenberg reviewed and discussed corrections in the resolution. Attorney Gruenberg addressed the conditions of the loading dock on the side of the building which is not
currently occupied.
The Board agreed the improvements shall be completed by the applicant and not deferred, as per the resolution.
Eligible to Vote: Sodtalbers, Rossi, Pflugh, Pietrangelo, Birkner
A motion to approve the resolution with corrections as discussed was made by Mr. Sodtalbers, seconded by Mr. Rossi, Vote: Sodtalbers, Rossi, Birkner - Ayes, 0 - Nay, 0 - Abstain,
motion carried.
COMPLETENESS:
1. Pride Builders - WTPB#2005-27 - Completeness review for a Major Subdivision application for Block 47 and proposed Lot 9.04. A motion to deem the application
incomplete per Planner S. Doyle’s letter dated September 12, 2005 was made by Mr. Iwaniszyn, seconded by Mr. Rossi, Vote: Iwaniszyn, Rossi, Howell, Strunk, Sodtalbers, Klingel, Birkner, Belz - Ayes, 0 - Nay, 0 - Abstain, motion carried.
PUBLIC HEARING AND DISCUSSION ITEMS: None
PUBLIC COMMENT: No public comment was offered.
ADJOURNMENT: 7:50 p.m.
With no further business before the Board and no public comment offered the meeting was adjourned.
