Butler Park

Located in the extreme southeastern corner of the Township, along the Musconetcong River, and partially located within Mansfield Township, the residential community of Butler Park was established in 1927, when a Butler purchased a farm and subdivided it into building lots. He added to his fortune by the construction of the Butler Amusement Park across the Musconetcong River in Lebanon Township, Hunterdon County in 1929. It operated until 1952. The community had its own baseball team and a fire company was established in 1953.

Merry-go-round - at Butler’s Park in 1932.
