TOWNSHIP OF WASHINGTON, WARREN COUNTY
Regular Minutes Special Meeting, April 9, 2007
The special meeting of the Township Committee was held this date at the Municipal/Police Building
located on Little Philadelphia Road. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor John Horensky.
SUNSHINE LAW COMPLIANCE - The Mayor noted that this meeting was being held in compliance with the Open Public
Meetings Law of 1975 in as much as a notice had been published in the Star Gazette and transmitted to the Express Times and posted at the municipal building.

ROLL CALL: Dempski, present; Kovacs, present;
:Mueller, present; Horensky, present; Elbassiouny was absent. Attorney Katrina Campbell, sitting in for Township Michael Lavery, and Mary Ann O’Neil, Township Clerk, were present. Peter de Boer, Public Works Manager and Alex
Soffiantini, Township Architect were also present.
ORDINANCE Mueller made a motion to open Ordinance 2007-11, Ordinance of the Township of Washington, County of Warren, State of New Jersey, Amending and Supplementing Chapter 59
Titled “Construction Permits” of the code of the Township of Washington, to the public, Dempski seconded. All were in favor. Nobody from the audience wished to be heard. Mueller made a motion to close the
public hearing, Dempski seconded. ROLL CALL: Mueller, yes; Dempski, yes; Kovacs, yes; Horensky, yes. Dempski made a motion to adopt Ordinance 2007-11, after public hearing and second reading, Kovacs seconded. ROLL
CALL: Dempski, yes; Kovacs, yes; Mueller, yes; Horensky, yes.
UPDATE ON NEW ADMINISTRATION BUILDING Alex Soffiantini, Township Architect, went over each page of the new drawings in detail and showed each page.
EXECUTIVE SESSION Kovacs made a motion to go into Executive Session at 7:30 p.m., Dempski seconded. All were in favor.
The doors were opened. Dempski made a motion to come out of Executive Session at 8:15 p.m.,
Mueller seconded. All were in favor.
The Mayor said there was discussion regarding legal matters. The attorney has been directed to speak with Attorney Michael Lavery on researching information relative to matter involving
ongoing investigation with the police department and matter before the Land Use Board.
Dempski made a motion to adjourn at 8:17 p.m., Kovacs seconded All were in favor.
